Saw OperatorLIST OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Material Order- Make sure that you have enough material to complete jobs that are on the schedule. DUE EVERY MONDAY @ 3pm
1. You should have a bundle of each material inside and a backup bundle outside. If you bring the bundle in that is outside, make sure to order more material to ensure that you always have a backup bundle.
2. When material is delivered you are responsible for unloading the trailer as soon as possible. Mark the material off of the order to ensure we received everything on the list. If we did not get everything on the list please let us know. Let management know when the trailer is emptied so we can have it picked up.
3. All trailers have to be cleared of all wood before it can be sent back to AXH, so please clear off all the wood before asking for it to be picked up.
Saw Blades- Keep at least 5 blades of each size in stock. When you get to 5 left, we need to order more.
1. To order saw blades please see Cheryl and let her know what sizes are needed to order.
2. Check all saw blade sizes so we can order all at one time.
Saw Coolant Order
1. When you have ½ a bucket of coolant left we need to order more.
Make sure that all parts are cut and cut correctly for the jobs that you are working on. Initial the cut list for parts you cut. Also, make sure you are signing off on the traveler too.
Please label all parts with the Job number, part number, and the time.
When cutting Fan Guards that only get T-Bar. Bring in the plasma parts and cut the tee bar for what you brought in. You are responsible for kitting these jobs together. If you cannot find the plasma parts for a job please let Cheryl or Michelle know.
Cleaning starts at 4:20pm Monday-Thursday and 4:00pm on Fridays. Keep your area clean and organized. Sweep daily. Mop on Friday at the end of the day.
You are responsible for bringing in your own material. Do not rely on others to do this for you as it slows down the process. If you need help bringing in the larger bundles, please ask Matt for assistance.
If there are no carts available, use pallets until a cart becomes available.
If you see that the packets look low do not slow down the cutting process. We have more coming and do not want to fall behind.
Perform necessary maintenance on the saw to ensure that it is working properly.
Change coolant at least once a month.
When moving material bundles please make sure you put the bundles that you have moved back where they go to keep the outside clean and organized.
Please keep the material organized inside. This will help with the weekly inventory.
