Staff Accountant

Role Description: As an Accounting Admin Assistant part-time, you will be supporting the accounting team on site on our Gastonia office with daily administrative tasks. Responsibilities include assisting with accounts payable and receivable, maintaining accurate records, and updating accounting software with relevant transaction data. The role also involves organizing documents, filing, and scanning financial paperwork, and preparing basic reports or summaries as requested.

Qualifications

• Strong Administrative Assistance skills, including organizing files, managing documentation, and supporting day-to-day office tasks.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word) and comfort handling numerical data.
• High attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to follow established procedures and timelines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with team members and external partners.
• Ability to work on-site in Gastonia, NC, and manage part-time hours reliably.
• Hours will be Mon - Fri; approximately 3 hours daily. Working hours are flexible although afternoon hours are preferred.
• Coursework or experience in accounting, finance, or business administration is beneficial.
