Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contracting opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to support home infusion therapy services in Cary, NC. This role is a 17-week contract to hire position, offering the potential to transition to a permanent role. The work environment focuses on home infusion pharmacy, utilizing the CPR+ computer system.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday rotating shifts: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
• On-call duties including weekends and evenings

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage home infusion therapies with clinical oversight, sterile compounding, and operational support using CPR+.
• Review referrals for drug appropriateness, complete new patient starts and refills, perform medication reconciliation and patient counseling.
• Monitor lab-dependent therapies and coordinate care with providers and nursing staff.
• Accurately enter prescriptions, document thoroughly, adjudicate claims, prepare and verify sterile compounded medications.
• Ensure proper labeling, lot tracking, and compliance with USP standards.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support production and medication delivery workflows.
• Maintain inventory control and ensure timely, safe medication dispensing in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated sterile compounding experience is required.
• Home infusion pharmacy experience preferred.
• Active North Carolina pharmacy license required.
