This is not just a steward of financial accuracy, but a strategic thinker capable of scaling systems, developing people, and driving insight through operational data. This is a high-impact leadership role at the heart of our finance operations—responsible for guiding the accounting team, owning technical accounting, and partnering cross-functionally with leaders across the business. This hire is crucial to supporting GSI’s ongoing growth, including post-acquisition integrations, internal control maturation, and continuous margin-focused decision making. Responsibilities Are You the One? We’re seeking a high-level thinker—a proactive, high-agency financial professional who thrives in ambiguity, elevates those around them, and combines rigorous accounting with operational insight. Key Responsibilities Take a hands-on role in the project controls, projectreviewand related processes in conjunction with the operations leaders. Key advisor to operations leadership related to leading and trending indicatorstoimprove company performance Lead and continuously improve all core accounting functions: month-end close, GL management, audits, reconciliations, and internal controls Conduct andguidetechnical accounting research, documentation, and policy update. Oversee accounting execution for complex transaction cycles and key accounts Serve as a lead partner in the integration ofacquiredentities into GSI’s financial systems Collaborate with FP&A and operational leaders on cashflow, budgeting, forecasting margin tracking, and financial accuracy by project Support tax planning and compliance in coordination with internal and external stakeholders Drive automation and system improvements to streamline the month-end close process Prepare key reporting for executive decision making and board visibility Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Demonstrated process and systems development experience. Ability to travel occasionally along the Western US and to our HQ in Westminster, CO Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Deep proficiency in Excel and comfort with financial systems Preferred Qualifications CPA certification Experience running a complete month-end close cycle Prior use of Vista by Viewpoint Background in public accounting or fast-scaling private companies Hands-on experience with M&A integration GeoStabilization International, LLC. is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. The expected base pay range for this position is $90,000-130,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location.
