Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00 (D/N, Rotating)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: BLS required; Epic experience required; Patient ratio 1:4; Night shift 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00); Must adhere to UVA's float policy; Internal review of clinical cases; Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00); 13 weeks contract; Working every other weekend; Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays; Cannot be guaranteed/approved time off around Christmas; Can submit with VA license pending.

Responsibilities:

• Provide bedside nursing care to patients on a 12-bed MS/Tele unit.
• Follow UVA's float policy and patient care protocols.
• Manage patient diagnoses including respiratory illnesses, renal illnesses, diabetes, sepsis, cellulitis, infections, heart failure, sickle cell, and cystic fibrosis.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately in Epic.
