Woodworker

C Global Inc

Job Description

Job Description

About the Role:

The Woodworker is responsible for fabricating, assembling, installing, repairing, and finishing custom wood components and architectural woodwork in accordance with C Global Inc.'s standards for quality, craftsmanship, safety, and attention to detail.

This position requires strong woodworking knowledge and the ability to accurately interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, specifications, measurements, and verbal instructions. The Woodworker must be proficient in the safe operation of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment and demonstrate the ability to produce precise, high-quality work.

The Woodworker may perform work involving custom millwork, cabinetry, trim, architectural wood components, furniture-style construction, specialty woodwork, and other detailed wood installations associated with C Global Inc. projects.

Because C Global Inc. projects require a high level of craftsmanship, the Woodworker is expected to consistently evaluate fit, alignment, dimensions, appearance, and finish quality throughout the fabrication and installation process rather than relying solely on final inspection.

  • Understand basic characteristics of wood, including grain direction, movement, moisture considerations, and potential defects.
  • Select materials appropriate for the assigned application when directed.
  • Inspect materials before fabrication or installation for damage, defects, color variation, or other quality concerns.
  • Handle and store wood and finished components properly to prevent damage.
  • Minimize material waste through accurate measurements, proper planning, and responsible cutting practices.
  • Communicate material shortages or discrepancies promptly.
Installation
  • Install fabricated wood components according to drawings, specifications, field conditions, and C Global Inc. quality standards.

Quality Control & Craftsmanship

Quality and attention to detail are essential responsibilities of the Woodworker position.

  • Maintain consistent workmanship across repeated components and installations.
  • Avoid unnecessary damage to materials and completed work.

  • Remove debris and unused materials from work areas as directed.
  • Follow C Global Inc. requirements regarding project confidentiality, photographs, property access, and jobsite conduct.
