Qualified Candidates: Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine via the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM) Or be board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with two years of Emergency Medicine experience. ABPS BCEM Encouraged to apply. Incentives/Benefits: Competitive Compensation Independent Contractor Status Flexible scheduling Start Date Bonus available with Commitment Relocation Assistance Available About Haines City FSER: 19,000 ER visits per year (52 patients per day) 12 emergency room bays, including a fully equipped Trauma bay Dedicated pediatric treatment room About HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital: Opened in 2013, HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is a four-story, 177,000 sq. ft. hospital with 94 private beds, a 12-bed private ICU, and 31-bed emergency department We provide a full range of acute care services including emergency services, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging, inpatient and outpatient surgery, cardiac catheterization, laboratory, pharmacy, and a full range of support services Our ED is approximately 19,500 sq. ft. and consists of 31 private treatment rooms, an EMS entrance, and a helicopter pad Community Information: Conveniently located 35 miles south of downtown Orlando, Poinciana is the largest unincorporated master-planned community in the U.S and is one of the fastest growth areas for Central Florida over the past decade. Walt Disney World lies 20 miles to the north of Poinciana and Orlando International Airport (MCO) is 30 miles northeast. Many lakes surround the area, one of which being Lake Tohopekaliga.
