Title Title Laboratory Technician Posting Number Posting Number S01580JP Department Department Biology Job Summary A one-year, benefits-eligible position for an NIH -sponsored project on the molecular basis of neuronal regeneration in adult crickets. Responsibilities include: managing the day-to-day operation of the lab (e.g. ordering supplies and equipment, preparing solutions); collaborating with students; and participating significantly in research projects. The position will remain open until a suitable candidate is identified. Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents Previous laboratory experience is required Organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and enthusiasm for biological research. Prior research experience in molecular or cellular biology and bioinformatics is preferable. Familiarity with neuroscience is helpful but not necessary.
