CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift

The Opportunity Our CNC Machinists will set up and operate state‑of‑the‑art CNC machinery and ensure the quality of the industry‑leading tools we produce. This position is for the second shift. In This Role, You Will Manufacture production orders for several CNC grinders. Edit and maintain CNC tool and cutter grinding programs. Perform first‑piece and in‑process inspection of products. Assist coworkers in keeping equipment running efficiently. Keep the work area neat, clean, and organized. Perform other duties as assigned. You’ll Bring Experience with Walter and Star CNC tool grinding machines. Software experience with Toolstudio, Numroto, and/or Walter Helicheck (a plus). Knowledge of cutting‑tool geometries. Blueprint reading abilities. Ability to inspect, monitor, and maintain quality. Competence in using measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers. Demonstrated ability to follow engineering documentation, including: Geometry specification sheets Product drawings Job routers Process sheets Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail. Ability to work independently. Regular standing and frequent walking. Occasional ability to climb stairs, reach overhead, and lift up to 50 pounds.
