The Fresh Mark facility in Salem, Ohio, is currently accepting applications for an FSQA Supervisor.

The purpose of this position is to monitor food safety and quality assurance documentation to ensure compliance, provide assistance with internal and customer audits and ensure product is released once it has met customer specifications.

This position is salary exempt plus weekend pay.

Job Type : Full-time

Key Accountabilities

1. Maintain and ensure the safety of all employees through training, enforcement of safety rules and compliance with all Fresh Mark, Inc. policies and procedures.
2. Drive departmental efficiencies and maximize productivity.
3. Ensure effective communications.
4. Monitor product quality and flow to meet customer demands and requirements.
5. Promote and maintain teamwork among employees.

Minimum Requirements

1. Combination of 2 years of education, training and/or work experience related to business management, food production, manufacturing processes or related field.
2. Availability to work OT/weekends.
3. Supervisors are expected to report one hour prior to their shift for start-up duties and be available to stay after the end of the shift to complete any necessary reports and/or paperwork.
4. Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Role Specific Requirements

1. Quality Supervisors : Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of work experience related to QA activities in food manufacturing. Ability to manage Pre-Op procedures starting at 4:30am.
