IT Specialist

Fangamer is looking for experienced candidates to apply for an IT Specialist opening at our Tucson HQ. This is a full-time on-site role that requires the candidate to be a Tucson local and able to work from our midtown office Monday through Friday to triage IT needs on-premises. The candidate should be comfortable being the sole on-site IT presence, with remote support from a technical team. Some weekend and evening availability would be necessary for the occasional migration or new hardware install. Responsibilities: Oversee Fangamer's IT infrastructure and hardware Device MDM Administration (adding devices to Apple Business, etc.) Physical Security (cameras, firewall, door access panels, fobs, monitoring software, etc) Teleconferencing (install and maintain Logitech Rally systems and components) Network software (Synology, Unifi, MDM, Tailscale, firewall, etc) Map out IT dependencies ('shadow IT' – this could take the form of a simple spreadsheet listing out the company's many SaaS subscriptions, their cost, # of seats, users, etc) Handle tech-related HR onboarding & offboarding tasks Buying and setting up devices for new hires (typically Mac laptops) Preparing keys, fobs, and accounts Administering access/licenses to software programs and platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, Adobe, etc.) Security and backup – both at the network level as well as the level of individual devices Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in IT roles for mid to large-sized companies Proven capability working with Cloud IT infrastructure Preference given to candidates having experience with any of the above listed technologies/services and their implementation $60,000 or commensurate with experience 401(k) 4% Match No vesting Yearly holiday bonus Profit sharing bonus Vision Life FSA Medical Insurance Blue Cross Blue Shield 'Gold' level plan Fangamer covers 100% of your monthly medical premium (after probationary period) Paid Time Off 13 days of paid vacation 13 paid holidays Paid bereavement/paternity/maternity leave Dependent Care up to $400/mo reimbursement for eligible expenses (e.g. daycare) When does the job start?
