Job Description PositionSummary The IT Support Specialist works in a support role for the I.T. department with an emphasis on customer service and problem resolution. The Support Specialistis required toanswer help desk calls in a helpful,understandingand personable manner. The technician will trouble shoot problems over the phone and if not resolved either elevate to tier two support or go on site to fix problems as needed. This position reports to the Director of Support Services. The pay range for this position is $27.00 to $28.00 per hour. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience. Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities Answer Help Desk Calls Troubleshoot a variety of hardware and software problems either over the phone or in person Record all calls in ticket tracking system Be familiar with installation and maintenance of all hardware used in rental, retail, ski school, ticketing and office applications Replace faulty hardware Create\manage user accounts Deal with warranty issues Replace leased assets under a deadline Other duties as assigned Qualifications Education & Experience Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required A valid driver’s license Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Proficient knowledgeof Microsoft Office applications Knowledge of Windows 11 operating systemsrequired Strong troubleshooting skills and both hardware and software Proficiency in troubleshooting, disassembling and repairing PC’s and peripherals required Proficiencywith Microsoft Office Proficient knowledge ofWiFiand networking basics Experience with Help Desk Institute (HDI) Certifications, A+ Certifications Proficient knowledge ofInformation Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and/or Knowledge-Centered Service (KCS) Ability to work with and build relationships with employees at all levels throughout the Company Ability to engage with internal customers in a positive and helpful manner Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Additional Information Ability to stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time. Kneeling and bending may be required Regularly work indoors with no adverse conditions.
