IT Support Specialist – Level 1 (100% On-SiteA private high school in South Brooklyn is seeking a Level 1 IT Support Specialist to support 450 students and 100 faculty/staff. This is a full-time, year-round role requiring 5 days on-site, including summer coverage.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the first point of contact for technical issues; troubleshoot or escalate as neededProvide support in person and via remote toolsImage, deploy, and configure laptops, desktops, and classroom technologyInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and applicationsManage device lifecycle (setup, repairs, replacements, inventory tracking)Support printers, copiers, and print server queuesManage users in Active Directory, Google Admin, and internal systemsAssist with endpoint management (Intune, Jamf, Google Admin)Set up and support A/V equipment and livestream events (occasional after-hours work)Document tickets, resolutions, and internal knowledge base updatesRequirementsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/certifications2 years of IT support / help desk experienceExperience supporting Windows, macOS, and ChromeOSBasic command line and scripting knowledge (PowerShell or shell)Basic networking/troubleshooting skillsStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environmentComfortable with physical work (lifting up to 40 lbs, moving between floors)Strong interest in learning and staying current with technologyNice to Have3D printer support/maintenance experiencePhotography, videography, or A/V production experience
