Benefits: Health insurance Opportunity for advancement Paid time off Training & development Vision insurance 401(k) 401(k) matching Company parties Dental insurance Employee discounts Position Description/Summary: Spa Manager is responsible to maintain daily operations at the Spa to include scheduling, training, and supervising spa receptionists; coordinating and scheduling spa services; merchandising; and providing superior customer service and sales. Major Job Tasks:
- Open/Close the spa as scheduled
- Ensure daily operating procedures are followed by employees
- Assist director in preparing employees schedules and submitting payroll information
- Assist in ordering spa merchandise and supplies
- Maintain a neat and clean spa and adjust as needed
- Provide superior customer assistance and service
- Maintain positive work environment to facilitate excellent service
- Operate point of sale system and accurately handle payment transactions
- Provide a quiet, efficient, harmonious spa experience for guests
- Maintain effective appointment booking procedures
- Assist in training and supervising spa receptionists
- Discipline spa receptionists as needed and recommend discipline for therapists as needed
- Assist the Spa Director in other duties as needed
- Prior retail sales and supervisory experience
- 3-5 years experience in the spa industry
- Excellent communication skills for positive interaction with employees and customers
- Ability to perform point of sale operations to include handling cash and credit transactions
- Basic typing skills
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with a Spa management software program
- Ability to stand during entire shift
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop and climb ladder as needed
