About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 3 x 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit experience License: Valid state or compact nursing license required Certifications: ACLS and BLS certification required Must-Have: Previous travel experience preferred Description: Schedule involves weekdays and some weekends, with rotating holidays. Will be required to work rotating or straight nights. Patient ratios are estimated at 1:3. Must be willing to float within units of equivalent or lower levels of acuity. Skills required include proficiency in IV starts and telemetry monitoring. Experience with Epic charting system is required. Daily responsibilities may include management of chronic ventilated patients and post-lung transplant patients. Collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams is expected. Will be required to provide care for various patient diagnoses, primarily cardiac-related. Experience with specific medical procedures and equipment is preferred. Candidates must have a strong ability to manage dysrhythmias and provide advanced patient care.
