Qualifications:

• Current Illinois teaching license with Special Education certification
• Previous experience in school-based special education, preferably in a similar grade range
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, student-centered approach
• Availability for a 30-minute interview

Responsibilities:

• Instruct and support 3rd-4th grade students in a special education classroom (caseload of five)
• Develop individual education plans (IEPs) and deliver tailored instruction
• Collaborate with parents, support staff, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain a safe, nurturing learning environment
• Full time: 37.5 hours/week; workday from 8:40 AM to 3:25 PM; assignment runs August 26, 2026, through June 3, 2027
