Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid certification in Special Education
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Experience teaching students with diverse learning challenges
• Confidence in developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
• Excellent interpersonal skills for building rapport with students, parents, and staff
• Ability to adapt instructional methods for various abilities and learning styles
• Strong organizational and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted instruction aligned with individualized education programs
• Maintain close communication with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive practices
• Track student progress and adjust strategies as needed
• Advocate for student needs and contribute to positive behavior supports
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation
• Foster a safe, respectful, and motivational classroom environment
