Employee Benefits Account Executive

Position Overview Employee Benefits Account Executive – Denver, CO Key Responsibilities Establish and manage client and carrier relationships. Plan and direct renewal process for health and life coverages. Recommend insurance solutions, alternatives, and cost‑reduction opportunities. Ensure compliance with renewal, sales, and insurance operation requirements in the agency system. Conduct strategic planning sessions with clients as defined in annual service goals. Educate clients on benefits legislation, regulatory requirements, compliance, and new product information. Develop customer needs and service plans to ensure exceptional service and client satisfaction. Resolve client issues and escalated enrollment or claims issues. Prepare stewardship reports and new business strategies, including proposals and presentations. Support sales team with prospect meetings and new client implementation. Promote performance standards and department/agency goals. Licenses & Certifications Valid Health, Accident and Life Insurance Producer license in good standing. Skills & Experience Proficient knowledge of insurance coverages, contracts, and state regulations where business is conducted. Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher. Proficient in office equipment usage. 6+ years progressive experience in account management or sales. College degree in a business‑related field or equivalent work experience (preferred). Professional designation specific to area of specialty (preferred). Compensation $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year.
