Director of Continuous Improvement

Overview In this role you will lead a global continuous improvement strategy for ODL's manufacturing sites, acting as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt to build capability and deploy structured problem solving. You will standardize processes, governance, and daily management across sites, driving behavior change and measurable improvements in quality, delivery, and cost. You'll enable scalable growth by embedding the Business Operating System and facilitating cross-functional Lean transformations. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role focused on sustainable results and multi-site impact. Responsibilities Lead CI strategy and multi-year roadmap aligned to business priorities Facilitate Kaizen events and Lean transformation initiatives Standardize processes, documentation, and governance across sites (BOS) Drive value stream mapping to reduce waste and lead time Establish and manage CI governance, including project prioritization and financial validation Coach leaders and develop CI champions, embedding CI into daily management Partner with site leaders to improve key metrics (quality, delivery, cost, OTIF, etc.) Influence cross-functionally to sustain improvements beyond short-term wins Coordinate with Finance on validation of financial impact Key requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, supply chain or related field 10+ years of manufacturing/operations experience 5+ years leading continuous improvement or transformation initiatives Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification Hands-on experience with Lean tools (value stream mapping, standard work, 8D, Kaizen) Experience with ERP and PLM systems Multi-site/global manufacturing experience Ability to travel 25-50% Strategic yet execution-focused leader with strong communication and coaching skills strategic thinker influencer across functions strong communicator Lean manufacturing Six Sigma Value stream mapping #J-18808-Ljbffr
