To learn more about Cypress Creek Hospital visit our website at: We currently have an opportunities for Weekend PRN Therapists Position Summary Therapists are key members of Cypress Creek Hospital's multidisciplinary team ensuring that delivery of high-quality and cost-effective healthcare is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing, and accreditation requirements. Hours are based on departmental, and facility needs and may include day, evening, and weekend hours, as directed by the Director of Clinical Services or CEO/Managing Director. Job Duties: Complete Psychosocial Assessments, treatment plan reviews, individual, group and family therapy sessions with established timeframes either face to face or telephonically with all patients, family, and significant others. Collaborates with multi-disciplinary team including physicians, RNs, and other healthcare team members in crisis intervention, creating behavioral plans, case conferences, client centered interventions and discharge planning. Conducts assigned therapeutic groups. Provides comprehensive education, instructions, advocacy information designed to assist the patient and significant other to identify and secure needed health care follow-up services. Qualifications Therapist Job Requirements: Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field. Current licensure as an LPC, LMFT, LMSW or LCSW in the State of Texas. One year of clinical experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting preferred. Must be available to work weekends.
