Attorney - Litigation

JOB PURPOSEAs a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney, you'll manage personal injury cases from intake through settlement or trial, ensuring effective advocacy, representation, and outcomes. This includes investigating claims, developing litigation strategies, drafting and arguing motions, conducting discoveries and depositions, and representing clients in court while maintaining compliance and leveraging a case management system.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESMore specifically, you’ll:Manage litigation cases from filing to resolution, including client engagement, contracts, pleadings, discovery, motions, and documentation.Analyze and prepare cases for litigation by reviewing evidence, assessing liability and damages, and developing trial strategies.Communicate with clients and stakeholders (experts, witnesses, opposing counsel) to gather information, build trust, and provide regular updates.Review and organize medical records and supporting documentation to strengthen case arguments and trial preparation.Draft, review, and file legal documents, including complaints, answers, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and trial briefs.Conduct and respond to discovery, take and defend depositions, and prepare expert witnesses for testimony.Represent clients at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials, ensuring persuasive and professional advocacy.Monitor litigation budgets and ensure compliance with firm policies and client agreements.Stay current on case law, statutes, and procedural rules through ongoing legal research and professional development.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEducation/ExperienceJuris Doctorate degree with admission to the Bar in Arizona.1-4 years of experience in related areas of practice.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesSolid understanding of Tort Law and related legal practices, with familiarity in courtroom procedures and litigation processes.Experienced in drafting motions, pleadings, and other legal documentation, as well as conducting discoveries and depositions.Skilled in representing clients at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, supported by proficiency in legal research to develop case strategies and arguments.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex legal concepts.Skilled in persuasion and negotiation to achieve favorable outcomes.Exceptional interpersonal skills for building professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.Proficient in using MS Office applications and case management software, with the ability to work in a paperless environment.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with personal injury cases.COMPENSATIONOffer will depend on experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
