Qualifications & Desired Background:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current SLP license in the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience within school settings is beneficial, though strong clinical backgrounds will also be considered
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
• Deliver individual and small-group intervention sessions tailored to student IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate communication strategies in the classroom
• Document progress and maintain clear, confidential records as required by school/district and state guidelines
• Serve as an advocate for students’ needs, participating in IEP meetings and supporting ongoing educational goals
