Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure or eligibility as an SLP in Texas
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants encouraged
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Compassionate approach to student development and support

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students using standardized tools to identify speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
• Provide both group and one-on-one speech therapy sessions tailored to student goals
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, session notes, and required compliance documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation and review of educational plans
• Stay up to date with best practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology
