In this role, you’ll design and implement therapy plans, conduct assessments, and develop individualized education programs (IEPs) focused on improving speech, language, and communication skills. Your contribution will support students in achieving academic success and social confidence.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Texas SLP license or eligibility to obtain
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
• Previous school-based SLP experience a plus
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and interdisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments for students referred by classroom teachers, parents, or school staff
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student progress
• Provide direct therapy sessions in individual and group settings
• Maintain accurate records, document student progress, and participate in IEP meetings
• Support generalization of communication skills in the classroom environment
• Stay current on best practices and continuing education requirements
