Job Description Inova Mount Vernon Hospital – Behavioral Health Unit is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 2 to join the team. Clinical Technician – Job Responsibilities : To learn more about a day in the life of Clinical Technician, please visit: Working as a Clinical Technician (2 Mins) Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses. Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors. Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system. May perform additional duties as assigned Training : Must be available for six (6) non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of: Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM) Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM (6 shifts total) Virtual training modules. On-unit shifts Minimum Qualifications: Education : High School diploma or equivalent. Experience : 1 year working as a Clinical Technician; or completing acute care clinical rotation, and actively enrolled in a nursing program Certification : Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire Special Skills : Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English Physical Requirements : Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds About Us We are Inova, Northern Virginia’s leading nonprofit healthcare provider.
