Job Title: Forklift Operator -East Moline -17/HR

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Forklift Operator at our East Moline facility, specializing in container management and racking systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, handling the cleaning, processing, and repair of containers and racks.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate container shipments.

• Control the warehouse system for managing containers and racks, primarily at the East Moline location.

• Wash and process plastic totes by loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and scanning.

• Work in process lanes to remove manufacturer tags from containers and racks using a hand scanner.

• Repair large plastic containers using hand drills and screwdrivers.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in operating a forklift and passing a forklift test involving maneuvering through cones and handling pallets.

• 6 months of recent experience in labor or forklift operation.

• Strong skills in production, loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

• Willingness to work 10 hours of overtime as needed.

• Availability to work on Saturdays.

This is a Contract position based out of East Moline, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
