Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting K-12 students for the upcoming school year. Located near Ecorse, MI, this full-time, onsite contract role runs from August 2026 through June 25, 2027. Make a meaningful impact on students’ communication skills and work collaboratively with a dedicated educational team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services to students across K-12 settings
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans to support communication needs
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Support IEP development and attend relevant meetings
- Monitor and report student progress, adjusting plans as necessary for optimal outcomes
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the state of Michigan (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience providing speech therapy in school settings
- Commitment to working onsite (remote or virtual work is not available for this position)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
