Accounting Specialist Full Time Professional Williamsburg, VA, US Salary Range: $23.00 To $30.00 Annually We are looking for a motivated Accounting Specialist to join our team at the Williamsburg, VA site: Job Summary Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and supporting financial reporting within the organization. Tasks and Responsibilities : Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable on daily basis Process incoming and outgoing payments by ACH, wire, check, credit card Receive, process, and reconcile credit card statements Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures Scan and maintain accurate records, including ledgers, journals, receipts, and invoices Verify, prepare, and submit customer invoices for shipped orders Help supply chain team with the payment and administration of vendors Assist with consumer tax and property tax filings Assist in month-end closing procedures (e.g., reconciliations, prepaid amortization, adjusting entries) Perform administrative and other tasks as needed Qualifications: Preferred: Associate Degree in Accounting or equivalent Preferred: 1-3 years of experience working with accounts receivable, and accounts payable Strong interpersonal communication skills and experience interfacing with all levels of an organization Self-motivated and self-directed with strong attention to detail Preferred: Working knowledge of ERP Systems and proficient in MS Office Effective time management skills with ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment Legally eligible to work in the United States Additional Job Details: Job Type – Full-time #J-18808-Ljbffr
