As a financial analyst on our team, you will support the Department of Defense (DoD) objective to receive a clean financial audit opinion. You will assist client staff with efforts to evaluate the operational design and effectiveness of internal controls for shipyard processes, programs, and systems. You will support the client in responding to internal and external audits, performing risk analysis on various business processes, and conducting ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed. You will assist a client team of financial analysts, accountants, and budget analysts to achieve their financial goals. Join us. The world can’t wait. You Have: 

• 5+ years of experience with the DoD or Department of the Navy (DON)
• 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel formulas, including VLOOKUP,

pivot tables, charting, data visualization, reconciliations, Power Query, and macros * 2+ years of experience with historical comparative analysis of financial records * 2+ years of experience performing financial statement audits, including internal control testing * Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS)

• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
