Emergency Room Nurse

Provides safe, efficient, and age-specific nursing care to patients in the emergency room setting. Utilizes the nursing process to deliver high-quality, relationship-based care that promotes positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs promptly upon arrival and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement nursing interventions using technical skills and appropriate clinical equipment.
• Monitor patient status continuously and adjust care as needed based on assessment data.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to coordinate care.
• Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately and thoroughly.
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols and clinical standards to ensure safe practice.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of emergency nursing practices and procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency with clinical equipment such as monitors, thermometers, and sphygmomanometers.
• Ability to respond to critical situations swiftly and effectively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
