Job Description
Spindle is partnering with a supportive school district in Palo Alto, CA to hire a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
Open to local and travel candidates. Weekly travel compensation packages and housing/meal stipends may be available for qualified educators accepting assignments away from their primary residence.
Responsibilities:
• Provide specialized instruction
• Develop and manage IEPs
• Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor student progress
Requirements:
• Valid California Special Education Credential – Mild/Moderate or ESN / Moderate/Severe or Early Childhood
Pay & Benefits:
• $40-$55/hour, weekly W-2 pay
• Travel compensation packages available for qualifying candidates and vary by assignment
• Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) with employer matching
