Role Overview

Apply your musical expertise to evaluate generative AI music across a broad range of genres. You will assess outputs against detailed quality standards, with a focus on lyrical quality, originality, and natural English-language expression.

Key Responsibilities

• Compare AI-generated lyrics with published songs to identify similarities.
• Rate lyrics for quality, creativity, prompt adherence, and originality.
• Assess whether lyrics sound natural, including word choice, slang, and regional expressions.

Qualifications

• Experience as a songwriter, lyricist, performer, composer, or music journalist.
• Headphones or studio monitors appropriate for critical listening.
• Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition is preferred.
• Credited or published songwriting work is preferred.
• Broad familiarity with contemporary genres, subgenres, and artists is preferred.

Work Terms

• Remote, hourly engagement.
• Immediate start.
• Project duration of up to six months.
• Flexible schedule. Most experts contribute about 20 hours per week, with no cap on hours.

Compensation

• Pay ranges from $23 to $54 per hour.
• The engagement is currently paid hourly. If compensation changes to a per-task structure during the project, the effective hourly rate will remain the same.
