Korean Music Producer / Audio Engineer for AI Evaluation

Role Overview

Evaluate and improve generative music AI by applying professional music production and audio-engineering judgment to Korean- and English-language content across a broad range of genres. You will work on AI-generated music for a leading AI research lab, assessing outputs against detailed quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Compare AI-generated songs side by side for musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production and mix quality.
• Classify songs by genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and other musical attributes.
• Assess AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference materials for quality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Korean proficiency and the ability to follow detailed written instructions in English.
• At least 2 years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer.
• Headphones or studio monitors appropriate for critical listening.

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition.
• Credited or commercially released production, engineering, or mixing work.
• Broad familiarity with contemporary Korean genres, subgenres, and artists.

Work Terms

• Remote, independent contractor engagement.
• Immediate start, with work available for up to 6 months.
• Flexible schedule. Many experts work about 20 hours per week, with no maximum hour cap.

Compensation

• $35 to $62 per hour.
• Compensation is currently hourly. If payment changes to a per-task structure during the project, the effective hourly rate will remain the same.
