Anesthesia TechnologistSchedule: Days - Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, on call/callback, holidays, weekends as needed per unit.Assignment Details: Contract Weeks: 13Requirements:BLS certification preferred (American Heart Association ONLY).Two years of experience as an Anesthesia Technologist.Certification by a nationally recognized professional certifying body preferred.Roles & Responsibilities:Assist in the care of patients undergoing anesthesia, including preparation of equipment, placement of monitors, and ensuring cleanliness and availability of anesthesia equipment and supplies.Communicate continuously with anesthesiologists, residents, and CRNAs to ensure their needs are met.Operate the cell-saver machine and participate in various advanced surgical cases.Ensure anesthesia equipment is in good working order, perform preventive maintenance, and serve as a resource for equipment use and maintenance.Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for staff regarding their roles and responsibilities.Set up and maintain anesthesia equipment, including infusion pumps, nerve stimulators, and machines, ensuring readiness for procedures.Provide backup support in the absence of the shift supervisor.
