Key duties and Responsibilities
• FACILITATE SCRUM ACTIVITIES SUCH AS DAILY STAND-UP MEETINGS, SPRINT PLANNING, SPRINT REVIEW, AND SPRINT


RETROSPECTIVE. ENSURE TEAM FOLLOWS SCRUM FRAMEWORK AND AGILE PRINCIPLES.
• PROMOTE CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT THROUGH RETROSPECTIVE AND FEEDBACK SESSIONS.
• COMMUNICATE PROJECT STATUS, RISKS, AND ISSUES TO STAKEHOLDERS.
• TRACK KPIS AND HELP TEAMS DELIVER HIGH-QUALITY PRODUCTS/SOLUTIONS ON TIME


Required Skills
• MINIMUM 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE AS A SCRUM MASTER
• 3 YEARS AZURE DEVOPS EXPERIENCE
• GENERAL CONCEPTUAL UNDERSTANDING OF PROGRAMMING AND DB QUERYING.


Preferred Skill
• CERTIFICATION IN AGILE METHODOLOGIES, LIKE CERTIFIED SCRUM MASTER (CSM) OR PROFESSIONAL SCRUM MASTER (PSM).
• GOVERNMENT EXPERIENCE DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED
• ERP EXPERIENCE PREFERRED


Education Requirement
• BACHELORS DEGREE

To deliver quality services that provide timely, accurate and complete information for the State agencies involved and all stakeholders. A Scrum Master will support the portfolio of operational and project needs to drive efficiency, accountability and collaboration.

This is a new position. We are in need of 2 SCRUM masters to facilitate the application of Scrum agile processes with project and/or operational teams.

The South carolina department of administration division of enterprise applications is seeking an experienced scrum master to guide daily activities.


As a Scrum master, you will facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum processes within our organization, ensuring the team can work collaboratively and efficiently to deliver high-quality solutions.

This position is responsible for removing impediments and facilitating Scrum ceremonies to include daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement and sprint retrospectives. You will work closely with the product owners, stakeholders, and product development teams to ensure that the work progresses on schedule, within budget, and to the desired level of quality. Additionally, you will serve as a coach and mentor to our team - helping to foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring that the team is meeting its objectives consistently.

Daily Duties / Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Scrum activities such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective. Ensure team follows Scrum framework and agile principles.
• Promote continuous improvement through retrospective and feedback sessions.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

Track KPIs and help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time

Required Skills (rank in order of Importance):

• minimum 3 years experience as a scrum master
• 3 years Azure Devops experience
• Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies.
• General conceptual understanding of programming and DB querying.
• Prior knowledge of Agile project management tools

Experience and ability to integrate hybrid project management (Agile combined with waterfall)

Preferred Skills (rank in order of Importance):

• General conceptual understanding of programming and DB querying.
• Certification in Agile methodologies, like Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
• Government experience desired but not required
