About the Role
The Company is seeking a Dean for its School of Law, a role that demands an accomplished and collaborative leader with a strong commitment to the mission of the institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for the academic and administrative leadership of the School, with a focus on strengthening its reputation, expanding influence, and preparing future lawyers to lead with integrity and a commitment to serving others. Applicants for the Dean position at the company's School of Law must have a J.D. or equivalent terminal degree, a record of teaching, scholarship, and professional achievement, and a strong background in legal education. The role requires a deep understanding of legal education within the context of a Catholic and Marianist university, as well as experience in areas such as ABA accreditation standards, faculty governance, and the evolving needs of the legal profession. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in administrative leadership, including budget oversight, strategic planning, and a commitment to inclusive excellence. Collaboration with various stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, and the legal community, is essential, as is a focus on the success and professional formation of all students.
