Life Safety Maintenance Agreement Sales Representative

Responsibilities Promote and sell service agreements for commercial building systems products, including fire alarm, suppression, sprinkler, security, sound, communication, and inspections. Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of service contracts by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads, and using outlined marketing strategies. Develop and maintain positive ongoing relationships with customers. Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company service offerings. Close sufficient sales to meet sales plan objectives. Develop and maintain an active proposal backlog that supports the sales plan. Conduct building surveys to support the development of estimates. Maintain accurate and complete records of all sales-related activities. Submit all required sales reports, expenses, competitive activity and correspondence in an accurate and timely manner. Support the service department to generate leads for service or equipment/device upgrades. Qualifications Degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 5 years). 5 years minimum B2B track record of sales experience. Experience selling a service, intangible, or technical product. Experience prospecting, qualifying, solution selling, and closing deals. Ability to work in a matrix environment with minimal direction; performance measured by meeting quota numbers. Professional communication, interpersonal, and time-leadership skills. Proficiency with personal computers, Windows operating systems, and Oracle systems. Ability and willingness to work as a teammate; must work well with others. Preferred bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline. Preferred 5+ years minimum B2B track record of sales experience. Preferred industry or related industry experience. Preferred Salesforce proficiency. Salary & Incentives Hirings salary range: $45,000 - $59,000. Salary determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. This position also offers a competitive sales incentive plan, which takes into account projects, quarterly, and annual margin. Benefits Competitive salary.
