Construction General Laborer (Overnight Shift)

Job Description

• Join a growing construction team supporting commercial and retail build-out projects. This overnight role involves rough carpentry, tape and spackle work, cabinet assembly, fixture installation, material handling, and general site support.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general labor on commercial construction projects.
• Complete rough carpentry, tape and spackle work.
• Install cabinetry, fixtures, and hardware.
• Load, unload, and move materials and equipment.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Follow OSHA and site safety standards.
• Travel between job sites as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Commercial or general construction experience.
• Experience with carpentry, tape and spackle, cabinetry, and fixture installation.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• OSHA 30 and SST 10 certifications required.
• Reliable transportation.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of New Hyde Park, NY.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
