Position Summary The Busser/Barback plays a vital role in keeping service running smoothly by assisting both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) teams. This position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and teamwork to ensure a clean, organized, and fully stocked restaurant and bar. As a Busser/Barback at Nick's, you'll clear and reset tables, assist with food running, restock bar supplies, and support the service team to create an exceptional guest experience. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly to ensure a quick turnaround for guests. Assist in running food from the kitchen to tables, ensuring proper plate presentation. Support bartenders by restocking liquor, beer, mixers, and bar essentials. Maintain a clean and organized bar and dining area by wiping surfaces and replenishing napkins, condiments, and utensils. Assist in overall restaurant cleanliness, including floors, restrooms, and service stations. Work as part of a team-service approach, collaborating with colleagues to maintain a stress-free and engaging work environment. Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor, embodying Nick's values of Excellence, Teamwork, Respect, and Accountability. What We're Looking For A hard-working, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic. Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to cleanliness and detail. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, including trays, kegs, and bar supplies. Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Working as a Server at Nick's requires energy, agility, and endurance. Candidates must be able to: Stand and walk for extended periods (6-10 hours per shift). Lift and carry trays, kegs, cases of beverages, and other supplies weighing up to 25 lbs. Perform repetitive motions such as bending, reaching, lifting, and wiping surfaces. Navigate a crowded bar and dining area while carrying trays or bar stock.
