Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Painting Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will analyze project blueprints, conduct site visits, prepare accurate cost estimates, and present competitive bids for commercial painting projects. The ideal candidate blends technical estimating skill with a strong drive to build client relationships and win contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed digital and on-site takeoffs for commercial painting projects.
- Review blueprints, specifications, and scope of work documents to calculate material, labor, and equipment costs.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor/vendor pricing and material quotes.
- Prepare clear, comprehensive proposal packages and present bids to potential clients.
- Collaborate with the project management team to ensure smooth handoffs once projects are awarded.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of commercial painting estimating experience required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with blueprint reading,
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial painting methods
- Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and negotiation skills.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license
