Accounting Supervisor

Overview The Accounting Supervisor oversees daily accounting operations while leading and mentoring a team of three accounting professionals. Working closely with the Controller, this role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, managing credit card expense reporting and reconciliations, and coordinating cross-market cost allocations, including insurance and management fees. The position also serves as a backup for Payroll, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable functions and prepares financial reports, analyzes variances, and provides ongoing support to management. Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of three accounting professionals; oversee daily accounting operations. Collaborate with the Controller to maintain accurate financial records and complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Manage credit card expense reporting and reconciliations. Coordinate cross-market cost allocations, including insurance and management fees. Serve as a backup for Payroll, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable functions. Prepare financial reports, analyze variances, and provide ongoing support to management. Qualifications At least two years of accounting experience. Strong understanding of accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables. Experience with accounting software; Microsoft Dynamics preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills; ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Reliable transportation.
