Accounting Manager

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking an Accounting Manager to join their dynamic team in North Carolina. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in accounting and financial management. The successful candidate will oversee the accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, while leading and mentoring a team of dedicated professionals.
Responsibilities:

• Overseeing month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Managing accruals and journal entries with precision and attention to detail.
• Maintaining and overseeing the general ledger to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Preparing comprehensive financial reports and statements for management review.
• Utilizing Financial Edge software for efficient and accurate financial management.
• Supervising and guiding the accounting team to enhance productivity and performance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in accounting management or a related role.
• Proficiency with Financial Edge software is essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Hours:

Monday - Friday, first shift.
Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $45 to $50 per hour, commensurate with experience. As a supervisory role, this position provides opportunities for professional growth and development within the organization.
