Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Vital Strength PT, you will work onsite in our modern rehabilitation center, surrounded by a collaborative team consisting of two fellow Physical Therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Our environment is designed to facilitate high-quality care, and we utilize the latest therapeutic modalities in combination with a patient-centered approach. Our typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs, goals, and potential barriers to recovery.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities to maximize patient function and mobility.
• Administer physical therapy techniques including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, ensuring high-quality individualized care.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients about their conditions, provide guidance on safe exercise practices, and inspire them to engage actively in their rehabilitation process.
• Document patient care services and outcomes using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, such as WebPT, to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care, integrating insights from various specialties into treatment plans.
• Encourage the development of strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through tailored wellness regimes.
• Advocate for non-surgical options and work to reduce reliance on pain medications where possible.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will primarily focus on orthopedic patients, including athletes and individuals recovering from injury or surgery. Vital Strength PT accepts various private health insurance providers, allowing access to a wide array of patients in need of specialized rehabilitation services. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on their recovery by providing personalized care that prioritizes their unique health goals.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current state Physical Therapist License in Florida with no disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated competence in manual therapy techniques and a strong understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, particularly WebPT, to document and manage patient information.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred.
• A history of developing and implementing successful rehabilitation and wellness programs.
• Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to motivate patients throughout their treatment journey.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, based on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and continuing education support.
