Quality Inspector

NOW HIRING: CNC Quality Inspector Perform basic dimensional checks & First Article Inspections (FAI) on precision parts using hand tools. 2+ yrs CNC inspection exp & blueprint/GD&T reading req'd. NetInspect exp a plus! Competitive pay & full benefits. salary: $18 - $24 per hour shift: First work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM education: High School Responsibilities First Article Inspections (FAI): Perform thorough AS9102-compliant First Article Inspections on new CNC setups to validate dimensions, geometric tolerances, and surface finishes before approving mass production. Basic Product Inspection: Conduct receiving, in-process, and final dimensional checks on machined metal and plastic components using precision hand tools. Blueprint Reading & GD&T: Interpret complex engineering blueprints, CAD models, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) callouts. Documentation & Digital Entry: Complete internal inspection logs, create FAIRs (First Article Inspection Reports), and record non-conformance reports (NCRs) for non-compliant parts. Calibration & Equipment Use: Utilize and maintain standard inspection equipment, including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, dial indicators, pin gauges, and optical comparators. Collaboration: Partner closely with CNC machinists, programmers, and production supervisors to troubleshoot dimensional discrepancies and process variations.
