We are seeking a Compensation and Benefits Manager to lead the development, implementation, and management of total rewards programs. This role is responsible for designing competitive compensation structures and benefits offerings that attract, retain, and motivate employees while ensuring compliance and cost effectiveness. The ideal candidate will partner closely with HR leadership, finance, and key stakeholders to align total rewards strategy with business objectives and enhance overall employee experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and administer compensation programs, salary structures, and pay policies
• Lead annual compensation cycles, including merit reviews, market adjustments, and bonus planning
• Conduct market benchmarking, pay equity analysis, and compensation assessments
• Maintain job descriptions and ensure internal and external competitiveness
• Advise leadership on compensation decisions aligned with company philosophy and budget
• Manage employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and wellness initiatives
• Evaluate vendors, negotiate renewals, and optimize benefit plan design
• Oversee open enrollment processes, communications, and system updates
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations including ACA, ERISA, COBRA, and HIPAA
• Support development of long-term total rewards strategies
• Monitor compensation and benefits trends and recommend improvements
• Prepare reports and analytics for leadership and audits
• Ensure data accuracy within HRIS systems
• Partner with payroll to resolve compensation and benefits issues
• Lead process improvements related to total rewards and employee experience
• Serve as subject matter expert for compensation and benefits inquiries
• Develop communication materials and train managers on compensation and benefits programs Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
• 5 or more years of experience in compensation, benefits, or total rewards roles
• Strong knowledge of compensation strategy, job evaluation, and benefits administration
• Familiarity with federal and state labor regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
