Summary

We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Brayse Die Cutter Equipment Operator to join our production team on 1st shift.

In this role, you will operate a Brayse die cutter and a 2-color Heidelberg Speedmaster press used for scoring and perforating previously printed sheets. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to maintain production standards while ensuring high-quality finished products.

Previous printing experience is a plus, but candidates with strong mechanical abilities and equipment operation experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up Brauyse die cutting equipment and a 2-color Heidelberg Speedmaster press.
• Perform scoring and perforating of previously printed sheets according to job specifications.
• Prepare equipment and materials for production runs based on work orders and job requirements.
• Monitor production to ensure quality standards and target production speeds are met.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic adjustments as needed.
• Read and follow job orders, production schedules, and work instructions.
• Maintain a consistent production workflow while meeting daily production goals.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and production guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding work assignments and production expectations.
• Assist in other production departments as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous printing or production equipment experience is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Experience performing routine equipment maintenance and basic machine adjustments.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, instructions, and job specifications.
• Ability to use measuring devices such as rulers, tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
• Comfortable using basic hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
