GrapeTree Medical Staffing Allied is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapist for a travel job in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 09/07/2026 Duration: 26 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel ASAP Start Contract Length: 6 months desired Setting: Outpatient Schedule / Patient Load 60-minute initial evaluations 30-minute follow-up appointments Position Overview Seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an outpatient contract assignment. The PT will evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction. Key Responsibilities Complete comprehensive patient evaluations Develop functional treatment plans and measurable goals focused on patient progress and discharge Provide and appropriately delegate discipline-specific therapy services Design treatment programs that promote a safe and effective return to community activities Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and progression Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation Document goals, functional assessments, medical necessity, and charges as required Ensure treatment is provided under appropriate physician orders and insurance authorization Follow applicable state practice standards and regulatory requirements Participate in quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives Maintain a safe treatment environment and follow infection prevention and safe patient-handling practices Requirements Current Physical Therapist licensure in good standing Ability to evaluate patients independently and develop appropriate plans of care Strong clinical documentation and patient education skills Ability to work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team Must meet applicable continuing education and professional practice requirements About GrapeTree Medical Staffing Allied GrapeTree Medical Staffing has over 20 years of experience offering 24/7 staffing solutions to healthcare communities.
