About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of OFCI Procurement to serve as the lead specialist in managing owner-supplied equipment for large-scale data center developments. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all procurement activities are in line with project design, delivery timelines, and operational performance requirements. This role involves close coordination with various stakeholders, including equipment manufacturers, distributors, and specialist suppliers of critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure. Key responsibilities include sourcing and procuring critical equipment, managing relationships with suppliers, leading tendering processes, and aligning procurement with fast-track delivery programs. The VP will also be involved in translating technical design into procurement specifications, preparing commercial bid comparisons, and leading negotiations to meet project expectations. Applicants for the VP of OFCI Procurement position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in procurement, construction, or real estate development, with a focus on leading the procurement of owner-furnished equipment in data center or critical infrastructure environments. A strong background in vendor management, strategic sourcing, and negotiation of complex systems is essential. The role requires a deep knowledge of long-lead equipment and its impact on commissioning and system performance, as well as the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
