Tax Manager

Company Overview: A well-established, family-run tax practice with over 40 years of history is seeking a Tax Manager to join its growing team. The firm has experienced a 10% increase in business in the past year, creating an immediate need for additional talent.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual tax returns (1040s) with a focus on K-1 reporting
- Handle tax compliance for partnerships and S-corporations (generally under $1M in revenue)
- Communicate directly with clients regarding tax estimates, extension payments, and general inquiries
- Support high-volume seasonal workflow, especially during peak tax season
- Assist in managing client relationships with professionalism and clarity
- Work closely with leadership to ensure timely and accurate filings
Qualifications
- 2-8years of relevant tax experience (candidates with slightly less experience may be considered if K-1 exposure is strong)
- Strong background in individual tax and K-1s preferred
- Experience with small businesses (partnerships and S-Corps) preferred
- CPA strongly preferred (EA acceptable)
- Excellent communication skills and client-facing ability required
- Ability to handle a high-volume workload efficiently
Compensation
- Salary: $110,000 - $180,000
