Position Overview

• Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to guarantee high-quality diagnostic images
• Utilize and maintain ultrasound equipment while promptly documenting any malfunctions
• Keep detailed records of procedures within the electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of new advancements in ultrasound imaging methods and recommended practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related specialty
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
